Terms of Service

You must be at least 13 years old to use Lurkers, and old enough to form a binding agreement where you live. If you use Lurkers on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are allowed to accept these Terms for it.

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your login secure. Keep your username and profile appropriate - we may change or reclaim usernames that impersonate others, are abusive, or are reserved for a verified creator. You can sign in with email or a connected account (such as Twitch, Google, or Discord).

Pulse Points are a free, in-app scoring currency. They are not for sale, have no cash value, cannot be redeemed for money, and cannot be transferred between accounts. Making a call commits points; a correct call returns your committed points plus an equal reward. Points and predictions are for entertainment. We may adjust point balances to correct errors, reverse abuse, or resolve disputes.

Community Pro is an optional paid subscription that unlocks hosting tools (running live watch parties, creating community pages, stream POVs, clip-queue moderation, and related features). It does not buy Pulse Points and gives no advantage on any prediction or payout.

Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing you also agree to Stripe's terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled; you can cancel anytime from the billing portal, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Prices may change with notice.

You keep ownership of the clips, comments, predictions, and other content you submit. By submitting content you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute it for the purpose of operating and promoting Lurkers. You confirm you have the rights to what you submit and that it does not break the law or these Terms. Clip links you submit point to third-party platforms (such as Twitch, YouTube, or Kick), and those platforms' terms apply to that content.

You agree not to:

• harass, threaten, impersonate, or target other people, or post hateful, illegal, or infringing content;
• create pages or predictions to harass, defame, or mislead others;
• cheat, farm points, use bots, or manipulate outcomes, leaderboards, or reports;
• break, probe, or overload the site, or bypass rate limits and security;
• scrape or reuse the site or its data except through features we provide.

Community owners, curators, and our staff moderate content. We may remove content, freeze predictions, reject submissions, and suspend or ban accounts that break these Terms or harm the community. Sensitive decisions are logged. If you think a decision was a mistake, contact us.

Lurkers is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Predictions and outcomes are for entertainment, and we do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, accurate, or error-free.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Lurkers is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, points, or profits, arising from your use of the site. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

We may update these Terms as Lurkers grows. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, give notice on the site. Continuing to use Lurkers after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
