Frequently asked questions
The short answers. See Rules for the full detail.
Is Lurkers free to play?+
Yes. Lurkers is free. You get 5,000 Pulse Points when you sign up, can claim a daily stipend, and earn a small reward on your first few picks each day. Points aren't purchasable and aren't redeemable for cash - they're for the leaderboard and bragging rights.
Do I use real money on Lurkers?+
No. You make free predictions with Pulse Points, which are free and just for fun. There's no wallet and no buy-in, and nothing to withdraw - you play for the leaderboard, not money.
Is Lurkers gambling?+
No. Lurkers is a free-to-play prediction game. Points are free, aren't purchasable, and aren't redeemable for cash, and there is no real-money market. You're calling what happens next for fun and leaderboard standing.
What are Pulse Points?+
Pulse Points are Lurkers' free in-app points. You commit some to a prediction; call it right and you get your points back plus an equal reward - a 2x return. Every point change is recorded in a ledger you can review on your profile.
How do I make a prediction?+
Open any live event or standing prediction, choose an option, and commit between 100 and the prediction's cap (up to 1,000) Pulse Points. One pick per prediction, and picks lock at the close time.
What's the difference between a live event and a standing prediction?+
Live events are stream-attached watch parties run by a community's owner or curators, with picks that close as the scene plays out. Standing predictions are longer-horizon community calls anyone can submit - an admin reviews them first - like who wins the wipe or whether an alliance holds.
Can I change my pick?+
Yes - once per pick, while the prediction is still open, for a 250-point fee. It's the same for everyone; there is no paid path to extra changes or any other edge.
How are outcomes decided?+
Curators resolve outcomes with proof - a clip, a VOD timestamp, or a resolver note - and every resolution is logged. If you think a call is wrong, you can open a dispute and a different reviewer takes a look.
What is the clip queue?+
Every account gets a clip queue at lurkers.gg/clip-queue/your-name. Share the link and viewers submit Twitch, YouTube, or Kick clips; you play through them live, and it can auto-collect clip links from your Twitch chat. Communities also have their own separate clip queue.
What is Community Pro?+
Community Pro is a paid hosting tier for community owners that unlocks running live watch parties on your own community page. It's tools for hosts only - it never buys points, picks, or any edge in a prediction.
Can I hide my stats or leave the leaderboard?+
Yes. Your profile has a leaderboard toggle - turn it off and you're hidden from every public board, and your public profile keeps your stats private. The live activity feeds never show who made a pick anyway.
What games does Lurkers cover?+
Live RP and sandbox games - GTA RP / FiveM, Red Dead / RedM, Rust, and more - plus creator events. Each community sets which game it's built around.
Is Lurkers affiliated with the streamers or games it covers?+
No. Lurkers is an independent fan project, not affiliated with any game studio, RP server, or streamer. Creators can opt out of appearing on the platform at any time.
